Cliff Pask

Cliff has been playing since the age of 13, in brass bands in South Wales. At 16, Cliff joined the army as a Junior Bandsman and attended a course in instrumental music at the world famous Military School Of Music; Knellar Hall, Twickenham. On completing his studies at Knellar Hall, Cliff returned to the Royal Engineers as their Principal Cornet.

On leaving the army in 1991, Cliff joined the well-known Newham Band, where he spent seven glorious years on Soprano, before ending up on the end chair for three years as their Principal Cornet.

As well as brass bands, Cliff has enjoyed playing with an academy of big bands, pop groups, jazz groups and orchestras. Cliff's dedication to playing at the top of the brass band ladder is reflected in his 200 mile round trip to band! Cliff lives in Essex with his partner Alison and his two children James and Emily.
