Gary Fountain

Gary started playing at the age of 11 on Bb cornet. During his early playing career he enjoyed being a part of the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain. Following this, he joined the Young Ambassadors Brass Band of Great Britain and took part in a number of European tours.

He held the Principal cornet seat at the Kettering Salvation Army Band for 14 years and was also Assistant Principal Cornet with the International Staff Band of the Salvation Army for 9 years.

Gary's playing career has enabled him to travel to numerous countries across the world, including Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Canada, America and most of Europe. In addition, he has been pleased to have been a guest player with Black Dyke Mills Band, Fodens and Faireys in recent years.
