Richard Baker

Richard Baker, aged 20, has been playing the Bb cornet since he was seven and a half.

He currently plays solo cornet for Youth Brass 2000, and the Northants County Youth Brass Band as well as GUS, and is now having lessons with John Hudson, a former Principal Cornet of the band.

When he was 13 he had the honour of being selected for the inaugural course of the National Children's Brass Band of Great Britain and progressed from there to the National Youth Brass Band, where he is now a solo cornet player.
